Scholarship

Abstract Guidelines

  1. Authors must create an account on the AOCR SGCR-WIRES 2026 Abstract Submission Portal before submitting their abstracts.

  2. All abstracts must be submitted via the Abstract Submission Portal by 30 April 2026 [Extended].

  3. Submissions via email or other formats will not be accepted.

  4. Abstracts and presentations must be written in English.

  5. The abstract body is limited to 300 words, excluding the title, author names, and institutional affiliations.

  6. Please do not include tables, graphs, or images in your abstract.

  7. Upon submission, an automated acknowledgement email will be sent to the registered email address. If you do not receive it, please contact enquiry@conectere.com.sg.

  8. Authors may revise and resubmit their abstracts until 30 April 2026 [Extended].

  9. If you do not receive the acknowledgement email, please contact enquiry@conectere.com.sg.

  10. The mode of presentation will be decided by the Scientific Committee during review of abstracts and further details emailed to the authors.

  11. A single presenting author may be listed as the presenting author for up to two (2) abstract submissions. Any additional abstracts must be presented by a different individual, who must also be listed as a co-author on the respective submission.

  12. A maximum of ten (10) authors per abstract is accepted; any authors listed beyond this limit will be removed.

  13. Previously presented work must be declared at time of submission.

"Best Save" Case Competition

We invite submissions for WIRES 2026's inaugural "Best Save" Case Competition, recognising moments where a potentially catastrophic complication or near morbidity event was successfully averted through skill, creativity, teamwork or innovative technique.

Case Examples:

Ruptured vessel, lost device, migration, unexpected anatomy, access complications, embolic reflux, non-target embolization etc.

  1. The presenting author is responsible for submitting the abstract.

  2. All presenting authors must register and pay for AOCR SGCR-WIRES 2026 by 1 June 2026.

  3. Presenting authors who fail to register by this deadline will have their abstracts excluded from the conference.

  4. Abstract submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and notifications will be sent to the presenting authors.

  5. Accepted abstracts will be published on the website by abstract number and title. Shortlisted authors for oral and poster presentations must formally accept the invitation sent via email to present at the conference by 7 June 2026. Please contact the organising team if you do not receive it, as emails may occasionally be blocked by firewalls.

  6. Awards and prizes will be presented on the final day of the conference. Authors must be present to accept their prize.

  7. Submission of an abstract constitutes the author’s consent to have their accepted work presented during the conference.
