Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

Following the success of WIRES 2025, we are excited to welcome you to WIRES 2026 in Singapore, held together with the Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) and the Singapore Congress of Radiology (SGCR) from 20–23 August 2026, with pre-congress workshops on 20 August.

 

The WIRES team is putting together a dynamic and fast-paced programme designed to reflect the energy and innovation of interventional radiology. With strong local and regional faculty participation, the meeting will feature a packed schedule of sessions covering practical IR, new and cutting-edge techniques, and challenging real-world cases.

 

Highlights of the meeting include Extreme IR, a Best Save case competition, focused programmes in Transarterial Microembolization for musculoskeletal conditions, the latest advances in embolotherapy, interventional oncology, vascular interventions, and cutting-edge IR. We are also pleased to feature a KSIR meets WIRES session, fostering collaboration and exchange with our colleagues from the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology.

 

Particular emphasis will be placed on topics relevant to young interventional radiologists, fellows, and trainees, alongside advanced discussions for experienced practitioners. With a diverse programme and many opportunities for discussion and interaction, there will be something for everyone in the IR community.

 

We warmly encourage colleagues to submit abstracts and share their work, and to take part in the Best Save case competition by presenting their most challenging and memorable cases.

 

We look forward to seeing you all in Singapore for WIRES 2026 for a vibrant meeting of learning, collaboration, and friendship.
